PSYCHOTHERAPY
One can choose psychotherapy because she/he is lost or stuck. What has “lost or stuck” to do with anxiety, depression, panic, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, drug abuse, anger problems, relationship problems, etc.?" The answer is: Everything.
When someone enters psychotherapy, or is asked to go by relatives, the common element among all these problems, is that the person’s behavior, feelings, thoughts, perceptions are not working effectively. They say they are worthless, or they believe they are hated or hate themselves, or they are sure nobody could ever care for them. They may be ruining their life with drugs or alcohol despite there own desire to stop; or they wash their hands until they are raw, all the while knowing that this is pointless and self-destructive. He beats his wife or girlfriend, yet is sure that he loves her; perhaps he does. She gets into one masochistic relationship after another, each time suffering the abuse and insensitivity of her lover and swearing never to make that mistake again.
Successful online psychotherapy will uncover the issues in your life and empower you to change. The important thing is that once the therapy gets under way, you should be hearing things that make sense to you that intrigue you; these should lead to the kind of revelations that give you the power to make the changes you want.
